Evan Holtzman will next be seen starring opposite Glen Powell and Adria Arjona in Richard Linklater's upcoming feature, HITMAN. In Television, Holtzman has appeared opposite Elisabeth Shue in ON THE VERGE, and Michelle Monaghan in MESSIAH. In addition, he can also be seen in episodes on such series as THE INSPECTORS, S.W.A.T., and WESTWORLD. Holtzman is also a professional stuntman and was most recently hired by Alex Garland for his latest upcoming feature, CIVIL WAR. His capabilities and training include stage combat, military firearms and weapons, motorcycle license, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, triathlete, horseback riding, and precision driving. Born and raised in Dallas to Denise Holtzman, a preschool teacher, and Scott Holtzman, an accountant, Holtzman attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After spending two years in Houston in the oil and gas industry designing rigs and platforms, he decided to move to Los Angeles to work with another energy engineering company. His new roommate at the time was an actor and although the "acting world" was completely foreign to him, he decided to take a class just for fun. After his first acting class in January of 2011, he fell in love with storytelling and was off to the races.
